Terms of Service

These Terms of Service set out the rules for using the hangu app, available at hangu.app (the “App”). By using the App, you accept the provisions below.
1. Definitions
- Service Provider / Administrator — Krystian Frydryk, contact: krychaxp.pl@gmail.com.
- App — the hangu service that lets you meet people nearby.
- User — a natural person who is 18 years or older and has an account in the App.
- Account — an individual User profile in the App.
2. Nature of the service
The App lets you meet people nearby for shared activities and spontaneous company (e.g. a beer, a walk, a workout, working together). The App is open to people of all genders. The service is provided electronically, currently as a web version.
3. Requirements and conditions of participation
- The App may only be used by people who are 18 years or older. By creating an account, you confirm that you are of legal age.
- Using the App requires a device with internet access and an up-to-date browser, as well as an account in the App.
- The nearby-people search feature requires consent to access your device location.
4. Registration and account
- You create an account using an email address and password, or by signing in with a Google account.
- You agree to provide truthful information and not to impersonate other people.
- One person may hold one account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
5. Rules of use — prohibited content
When using the App, you agree to comply with the law and good manners. The following is prohibited in particular:
- harassment, threats, hate speech and discrimination against other Users;
- publishing illegal or offensive content or content that violates the rights of third parties;
- placing content containing nudity, sexual content, violence or other inappropriate content in a profile photo;
- creating fake profiles and impersonating other people;
- spam, advertising and unsolicited commercial content;
- use of the App by minors and contacting them for prohibited purposes;
- automated data collection (scraping), attempts to bypass security measures or to disrupt the App;
- using the App for commercial purposes without the Service Provider's consent.
6. User content and moderation
- You are responsible for the content you publish (profile, photos, messages).
- Profile photos and photos sent in chat are subject to automated moderation using artificial intelligence (Google Gemini); prohibited content may be rejected or flagged.
- The Service Provider may remove content that violates these Terms and may block or delete accounts that violate them.
- You grant the Service Provider a non-exclusive licence to store and display your content solely to the extent necessary for the App to operate.
7. Blocking and reporting
You can block another User at any time and report a violation of these Terms to moderation. Reports are reviewed by the Service Provider, who may take appropriate action (including a warning, block or account deletion).
8. Privacy and location
The rules for processing personal data, including location, are described in the Privacy Policy. Your exact location is never shared with other Users — only a rounded distance is visible, according to the visibility settings you choose.
9. Safety of meetings
The Service Provider does not verify the identity of Users or guarantee their behaviour. Meetings with people met through the App take place at your own risk. We recommend caution, meeting in public places, and informing loved ones about your plans.
10. Service Provider's liability
- The App is provided in its current form (“as is”). The Service Provider makes every effort to ensure it works correctly but does not guarantee uninterrupted and error-free availability.
- To the extent permitted by law, the Service Provider is not liable for the behaviour of Users or for the consequences of meetings and contacts made through the App.
- The above limitations do not exclude or limit consumer rights arising from mandatory provisions of law.
11. Complaints
You can submit complaints about the App's operation to krychaxp.pl@gmail.com. We review complaints within 14 days of receipt and send a response to the email address provided.
12. Duration and termination of the agreement
- The agreement to use the App is concluded for an indefinite period and you may terminate it at any time by deleting your account in Settings → Delete account.
- The Service Provider may suspend or delete the account of a User who violates these Terms or the law.
13. Right of withdrawal (consumer)
By starting to use the App immediately after creating an account, you accept the immediate commencement of the digital service. Regardless of this, you may withdraw from the service at any time by deleting your account.
14. Changes to the Terms
The Service Provider may change these Terms for important reasons (e.g. legal or functional changes). We will notify you of significant changes in the App. The current version of the Terms is always available on this page along with the update date.
15. Final provisions
